Possible grants for Wind Energy
In last year’s and this today’s economical crises, many people were trying to lower the costs of living in order to save some money. Well, small wind turbines are actually ideal for householders, communities and small businesses. United States
If you’re living in United States, there are also some very tempting grants. There are numerous Government grants, tax credits and other subsidies that can greatly reduce the installation costs. The U.S. Department of Energy further spurred the industry by announcing over $500 million in grant awards from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to companies for clean energy projects including wind turbines.
In addition to the $500 million in grants for clean energy projects, the Recovery Act extended an up to $4,000 tax credit for homeowners who install small wind turbines on their property. If you’re living in the U.S. you should really try to find grants and other subsidies for the region you’re living in, because there are many national (federal) and regional laws that are not the same for the whole U.S.
